Board of Directors
LCEDC, a private non-profit corporation, functions under the supervision of a 9-member grass-roots Board of Directors. The Board members come from all walks of life and are volunteers dedicated to helping the economy of Lincoln County grow and prosper.

- Joyce Dass, Secretary/Treasurer
- Joyce lives in Lake Benton with her husband Buzz. They have five children, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joyce is the Owner and Operator of the Wooden Diamond Bed & Breakfast and Joyce's Art Work where she sells handpainted note cards and prints. She is a member of the Southwest Initiative Foundation, Tyler Regional Economic Development, Tyler Area Community Center Task Force and the St. Dionysius Joint Parish Council. She is also a member of various clubs such as the St. Dionysius CCW, High Valley Art Guild and The Reading Girls Book Club. In her spare time she enjoys oil painting, quilting, gardening, cooking, reading, cross stitching, entertaining and walking.

- Jeanne Bednarek
- Jeanne lives in Ivanhoe with her husband, Frank. They
- have three children. She currently works at Bank of the
- West in Ivanhoe and is a member of the CCNI and
- Ivanhoe Housing, Inc. Board of Directors. In her spare
- time she enjoys playing the organ and piano.

- Gary lives in Tyler with his wife, Shirley. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Gary is retired and enjoys traveling, landscaping, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

- Gary lives in Lake Benton with his wife, Roni. They
- have two children and three grandchildren. He currently
- works at First Security Bank in Lake Benton and is a
- member of the Lake Benton EDA, Lake Benton
- Chamber and Community Wind North Board of
- Directors. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking,
- traveling and basketball.

- John Engels
- John lives in Taunton with his wife, Amanda. They have four children. He currently works at Petersen & Engels, PLLC in Tyler. He is an officer with the Minnesota Army National Guard and involved with St. Edward's Church and School, Tyler Kiwanis, Lincoln County Drift Clippers, Taunton VFW Post 5334, American Legion Post 114. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, biking, listening to music and reading.
